Rebate News!!

As a reminder (or as an “FYI”to those of you new to us), South Side participates in several rebate programs. We are added a new program this year,the Kmart School Spirit program, and continue in some “oldies but goodies”!

If you shop at these stores (or eat groceries), or shop on-line, there is an easy way to help your school. Please clip, click, scan and save for South Side!

• Box Tops For Education - The Box Tops for Education Program is very simple. First, clip and save Box Tops logos from participating General Mills products (just look for the logo on the top of the box!) Second, turn in your Box Tops logos to our school. We will mail them periodically to General Mills. And, third, General Mills issues our school a check. The more Box Tops logos, the more cash! Last year, we received appx $250 & this year we have a goal of $500! Help us meet our goal!

• FOX’s Market – Fox’s Market gives our school 1% of all receipts we submit to them. So, next time you are grocery shopping at Fox’s, please save your receipt and send it in to school. Last year we got over $500 in rebates from Fox’s!

• Target “Take Charge of Education” - You can support our school by shopping with your Target Guest Card. Each time you use your Target Guest Card, at any Target store, Target will donate an amount equal to 1% of your qualifying purchases to our school. We will receive our donation twice a year, and funds accumulate all year long!

• K-Mart “School Spirit” - Kmart will supply the school with School Spirit Parent Packs. These will include special School Spirit Cards encoded with our school's name and individual school code. We will be sending these packets home as soon as we get them from Kmart. Every time a parent, relative or friend makes a purchase at Kmart, pays by cash, check, or credit card and presents their School Spirit Card, a portion of that eligible purchase will be accumulated for our school. Kmart will keep a running total and send our school a check twice a year. The more the Cards are used, the more our school earns!

• A+ America – Start your online shopping thru www.Technology4kids.com , register your sales to credit South Side, then go shop at your favorite web sites such as Amazon.com, Expedia.com, Walmart.com and tons of others! Shop where you normally would – just start at Technology4kids.com & we’ll earn points! Your purchases will earn points toward the purchase of great computer stuff like hardware & software, or other equipment for our school!

• Schoolcash.com brings together store, catalog and online merchants to raise money for our school. When shopping with SchoolCash.com’s hundreds of online merchants, our school can earn up to 20% of each of your purchase. For example - thru 9/30 Barnes & Noble.com is giving a special 12% back to schools, and right now JCPenney.com is rebating 6%, the GolfWarehouse.com rebates 4% and LandsEnd.com is rebating 5% of purchases right back to us! All this at no cost to the school or to you! Schoolcash.com simply mails a check for the amount of rebates earned by shoppers from our school!
